Sydney Opera House

A new glass lift shaft was installed as part of the Sydney Opera House renovation project. Svendour was engaged to carry out a water test to AAMA 501.2-15 standards by Altitude Facades. With the unique design of the Sydney Opera House combined with the close proximity to the marine environment installation required the upmost care to ensure the Façade was water tight. As the Sydney Opera House is classified as a building of National significance extra permits were required to be obtained including a police check for all personnel working on the site.
